Promotional cashback: calculation base, cap and credit type
“Refunded” may mean promotional credit rather than available cash. Record base, rate, cap, period and credit conditions before interpreting the promise.

Identify the exact base
An offer may use eligible stakes, contract-defined losses or a particular selection. These bases differ. Check exclusions and treatment of winnings or refunds.
Apply a hypothetical cap
Assume 10% of an eligible loss capped at €15. An €80 base gives €8; €200 gives €15, not €20. This calculates a stated credit, not withdrawable value.
Identify the credit type
Separate available cash, bonuses, free bets and other rewards. Check wagering, game contributions, expiry and withdrawal caps. An €8 credit does not necessarily offset €8 of loss.
Reconcile without further play
Keep confirmation and promotional history, then reconcile real cash flows. Do not increase stakes to reach a refund threshold: promotions do not remove the risk of new losses.
