Spa: springs, heritage and group bookings
Pouhon Pierre-le-Grand provides an entry point to Spa’s history. Guided programmes require distinguishing an individual visit from an organised group excursion.

A documented thermal landmark
The Walloon public service attributes the Pouhon building in its 1880 form to Victor Besme. Use this landmark to explore thermal heritage without assigning unestablished medical benefits to the waters. A historical visit and a booked treatment are different services.
Check the intended audience
The “Spa, l’insolite” offer combines the Pouhon, Vieux Spa and laundry museum and is advertised for groups of at least twenty people. Its springs tour uses the group’s own coach. Do not transfer the programme or its conditions to an unplanned individual visit.
Our suggested plan: choose the appropriate format
As an individual, ask which visits are available and where they meet, then leave time for a town walk. For a group, obtain written confirmation of numbers, meals and transport. Compare booking charges, admissions and travel before dividing the total among participants.
Practical reference
Compare stages before booking
Suggested routes are editorial proposals. Confirm opening times, prices and accessibility for your date with the venues cited.
| Stage | Useful check | Record |
|---|---|---|
| Individual | Is a single-person slot available? | Office confirmation |
| Group | Which group size and transport? | Written quotation |
| Springs | History visit or booked treatment? | Exact service |
Prepare costs and admission conditions
Fund the trip independently of any potential winnings. Tourism access to a site does not establish admission to its gaming rooms.
